Changing Your Tamagotchi's Shell Background

Does anybody know how to change your shell's background design without too many complicated tools?

There's a site called TamaSurgery which I think is quite a good step by step guide on how to take your tama apart carefully: https://necrobones.com/tamasurg/

It's a really old site, but the instructions are still valid.

As always, you have to be really, really careful you don't break the tama or ruin the connecting wires / electronics and you have to take responsibility yourself and not blame anyone else if you get it wrong!

Wow! That's really neat. I never knew it was possible to change a background design on a Tamagotchi, but now, it seems very logical. You learn something new every day.
