Changing B-day information

Hi, I wanted to know if its possible to change the birthday date you give when you first start your tamagotchi. I didn't know i was suppose to my birthday ,and instead invent one. Do I have to reset it to change it ,or will i be able to do that one my tamagotchi has a new baby ,for generation 2?

Once you set your Birthday, I don't think you can change it without resetting.
