Catiua and Denam in tactics ogre (Reborn)

Hi!, So this is my first thread Since i joined maybe already more than a decade ago. What do you think about Catiua from Tactics Ogre?, Why does she care about morals so much while apparently just wanting Denam to eternally be on the run helplessly in neutral route (aka the walking dead route)?. I thought this would be fun to debate, hugs!.
