Can't access shops in tamatown online

Okay so... I have the mametchi tama-go with the accompanying figure plugged into the top. I have an account on Tama Town online, and can do almost everything, but I cannot access many shops.. the only ones I can see/buy from are the pet store, the flower shop, and the poster shop. Every other place is either not showing up, or giving a weird message, here is what it says : HELLO! TO BUY SPECIAL ITEMS YOU NEED TO ATTACH YOUR GOTCHI FIGURE TO YOUR TAMA-GO. ADDING DIFFERENT GOTCHI FIGURES WILL CHANGE THE ITEMS IN YOUR SHOP.

(Note: there are NO items on display here at all, in the cafe, aside from the petshop on the other side of the cafe. It gives me a similar message in the music studio, etc. The ONLY places I can even see items to purchase are those listed above. I AM logged in with the tama-go figure, I must be since I have been transferring money and the icon of the tama-go comes up when I log it in.) So the question is, what am I doing wrong, or is it a problem with the site or the communication with my device? Or is there a code somewhere ELSE On my tama-go that I have missed? The only code I got was the one it spit out and told me to type in along with the name I entered when I started the Tama-Go. I have gotten no other codes from it, except when I want to transfer money.

I have not been able to buy a single piece of furniture or clothing, are there more shops that I am missing? Thanks!

Figure what comes with Tama-go doesn't work in Cafe.

Have you tried to go into normal shop/instrument shop?

Instrument shop is that where's guitar on top of it and next to that there's normal shop.

There are many different items what you can buy without figures too.

I guess my question is: how specifically do you "log in with the gotchi figure" to get the figure-exclusive items?

you attach the figure then go to Music City

then what? i did that but nothing....

you attach the figure and go on to music city with the tamago and the fihure attached you go to the cafe and you will get either a food from marjorite or an item from imotchi that you can buy but make sure its not the figure that came with the tama go it does nothing
