Can you store food or snack items on the P's?

I am still trying to figure out the P's and I was wondering if it was possible to store food items on this tama instead of having to go to a restaurant every time my adult character is hungry?

You can buy food from the food cart that comes to your house after noon.

Interesting. DO I need to just leave my tama outside? It's 3:40 pm here right now and on my tama clock...I keep going outside but the only thing that ever comes is a coupon to get double points in games...

Hmm....try at one maybe. That's weird tho. I usually just keep going outside until I find it tho.
