Can old timers marry? If they do, do they marry by connecting to other tamagotchis or by the matchmaker or either one? Can anyone help me? PLZ!!!

Oh only by connecting, that stinks, i dont have any one to connect with. omg, no fair!!!! i connected b4 with my cuzin but he stopped playing cuz he couldnt find a battery. i want to connect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, can the TConnection version 2 connect with version 1????????
