I NEED TO KNOW: When you change the tama p's battery, does the data save, tell me everything you know pls plz pls I need to know before it arrives at my house in July!!!

Yes it does. You can choose the upper choice to resume where your Tamagotchi last saved. Your Tamagotchi saves automatically once in a while so if you restart or change your battery, you have the option to restart to square one or continue where you left.
