Can a v3 fall in love with a v1?

I'm assuming one of my Tama's is a v1...

It's a connection version, but does not include the shopping option.

Anyway, I have 2 v3's, both of which are girls, and a v1 that is a boy. The smile scale increases, but never any hearts, although I've only been using them both for a day now.

Can the v1 make babies and "fall in love" with a v3? Or vice versa?

A V3 can mate with the earlier Connections/Connexions (V1 & V2).

Okay, so

v3 male + v1 female = baby

OR

v3 female + v1 male = baby

which would work?

Yes they can. My V1 has mated with a V2 and my V2 has mated with a V3, as long as they are connections/connexions they can mate- although it takes a little longer as you cannot chose present/game so they don't always visit each other but play a game instead.

v3 male + v1 female = baby

OR

v3 female + v1 male = baby

which would work?

Either- they will end up with one baby each after mating as the girl has two babies and one goes to the boy.

I don't have a v2 to close the gap, you know what I mean?

Sorry if I'm missing the point. I understand v1 and v2 can make babies, and v2 and v3, but how about a v1 with a v3?

Yes they can- any connection/connexion can mate. Sorry, I thought I already said that.

Maybe you did say it and I just missed it. Okay so I'm going to try real hard to get this v1 and v3 to make a baby, haha. I would be so proud.

ok, long story short, yes, a v1 and a v3 can mate. i have a v1 and a v3 and i had them have babies many times. they have to be of the opposite gender first. and then they have to have four hearts. just keep connecting them to make them have four hearts. they can only get four hearts when they are an adult. if they have four hearts, then they will usually mate at 5yr old.
