I was just wondering, is it bumping when you add a reply to a topic from the second or third page of topics? I want to know this because I have done this a couple of times before and I don't want to earn bad karma. Thanks for looking at this topic and please reply if you can answer me correctly. THANKS AGAIN!!!!

Bumping a topic means that you post to a topic that hasn't had new posts for at least three months. Hope I helped!

No, Its replying to topics months to years old O.O

Some of the forums go faster than others. For example suggestions in "Suggestions" might have had no posts for days and still be on the first page, whereas "Help For New Tamagotchi Pet Owners" can have topics with replies from 2 hours ago pages down. TamaTalk is not as popular at the moment so there are not as many posts. When V4 is launched in America, there will be tonnes and tonnes of posts and new members.

It's not about how far down they are, really - it's about how old the topics are.

You would not get bad karma for bumping a topic if you didn't know it was wrong :kusatchi:

Normally a TamaTalk Guide would send you a PM to ask why you were behaving inappropriately.

We try to give everyone a chance to explain and a chance to change their behaviour before awarding negative karma

The exceptions to this are pretty easy to figure out ... some members get bad karma straight off if the behaviour is so totally wrong - like swearing - or the member clearly knows they are breaking the rules and is having a great time doing it.

None of the Guides like to award negative karma if it can be avoided - but don't forget karma - good and bad - is earned by your behaviour

If you have any doubts, take a moment to read the Karma Guidelines again (there's a link in my sig mssg)
