Birthdays?

Just wondering about new borns, are their b-days (the exact time they hatched besides pause mode.) when their parents leave or when they hatch (or appear!! Matchmaker...)??

when your tama hatched is when its bday is. Every day(or everyotherday) your tama will b one year older than the last. I dont get the last part.

sorry... kind of hard to explain... when your tama mates, you dont see an egg. Everything goes black then you tama is standing beside it's kid and does the leap for joy thing. Then its parent stays with it for 2 days. then the parent disappears and you start taking care of the kid. I'm asking is it's bday when the parent leaves or when the parent is still taking after it. I just got a kid and it's parent just left. I just checked it's age and it's 0 (even though it's been on the screen with the parent for 2 days) no one else has to reply on this because I kind of figured it out myself. I said appears because when you have a kid you dont see it's egg.

Sometimes when you pause it, it messes up its b-day.
