Best tamagotchi without the need of add-ons?

Hello everyone!

I'm sure you guys have been asked similar questions in the past but I was wondering what the

best colour tamagotchi would be if you remove all add-ons, pierces, downloads etc.

I really love the idea of some of the colour tamagotchis but I have no access to infrared / NFC and some of the pieces for

the Tamagotchi P's are starting to get a tad bit expensive!

I've just ordered myself a 20th Anniversary M!X and I've been eyeing up the Plus Color aswell, but out of the others

I'm not sure what I should get and which I should probably avoid without access to extra characters and items.

I kind of love the simplicity of some of the earlier 'gotchis.

I was gonna say iD L, which is all around a great tama. But then you mentioned loving the simplicity of older tamas.. I would then recommend the iD or Plus Color! They don't have a lot of content but will have recognizable characters as the iD L has some funkier new ones. I'd take a look at growth charts to start with.

I think you should watch some YouTube videos! Those really help.

If you want as much as you can get without downloadable then go with the iD L.

If you want the simplicity, then Plus Color.

The iD is somewhere in between. It's pretty hard to sum it all up so you're gonna have to do some research. Look at YouTube reviews, growth charts, and guides. Good luck!

This is why I was looking at the colour but the IDL also caught my eye, just wasn't sure if that was one of the ones tied down by downloadable content.

But yeah, I have been looking at alot of youtube videos, I'm pretty sure I won't be getting a P's anytime soon! aha.

Since I got them a little while ago, the Tama MIX is my favorite. I got the Spacy and Melody versions, as well as the Anniversary one. No add-ons, and I like the genetic aspect of this version. It has replaced the Uratama as my favorite.
