During the day, I'm not able to take care of my tamagotchi. I am able to take care of it during the evenings/weekends. So, in the mornings, I screw open the back, and take out the battery. Then when I can play with my tamagotchi, I put the battery back in. Yes, it slows down the growing process, but I save a bunch of batter, instead of keeping it on pause. I wanted some feedback/comments on my situation. Should I keep the battery in or out? Does it really matter?

You could also put the tab back in...that's what I do. Saves you the trouble of having to unscrew/re-screw the cover and risk losing the tiny screws or the cover. :furawatchi:

Really? See, I've never tried it with the new connections...the only ones I really play with anymore are the Tamagotchi ancestors and putting in the tab works. I would still recommend trying to put it back in but if it still doesn't work, I've got nothing. Just be careful with the small parts! :D

Taking the battery in and out all the time is tough on the battery..

If you put your tama on pause, It uses very little power. I noticed this because one time three of my tama's batteries were dying constantly. I put the tamas on pause for about three weeks, and the battery didn't die once. Then when I began to play with them again, the batteries began to die again.

It uses very little power when you put it on pause so it is better to put it on pause. Also, the battery might brake if you tuch it too much! ;) :( :(

set it to time to when your tama goes to sleep. then when you want to play with it again set it back to normal time. so that you don't have to keep taking out the battery and putting it back in and you don't have to put it on pause.

Yup, I use this method. It's great, because it doesn't affect the Tama's growth like pausing does.
