I have been looking through the posts here but I am unable to find out what batterys the tama take. Please can someone let me know as my daughters battery is flashing.

Also how long do you have from when the battery starts saying it is low before changing the battery, so you dont lose the generations?

you won't lose generations, and the battery type is CR2032 for V1 V2 V3 and many others.

You can take as long as you want to change the battery. It's cr2032. Just make sure when you press reset to press ''b'' and then select download.

You need the thin ones, but the kind would be the 2032 batteries. I got mine at home depot

bought one at the market, a CR2032 3 volt battery, I bought it just in case, so I haven't used it yet. It was only 2 euro's though, so I don't think it will last very long, but hey, it's worth the try :)

Yes, 2032 3V; lithium type. If you open the battery cover, the battery number is also printed in very small letters on the inside of the main case. But the easiest way is to take the old battery with you to the store.

Thank you all so much. You've all made my daughter very happy

I'm off to the shops!!!
