Battery leak out

Hi,please help. I have a tamagotchi 4u the battery is leak out i try to remove it by using baking powder. But it doesnt work. What should i do? Can i send it back to the factory to repair it?

You should try taking a Q-tip and rubbing down the battery contacts. I'm pretty sure if it is leaking then that'd definitely be bad but if it's just corrosion, it'll do just fine.
