Chapter 1
Intro to Kingsland...
A long time ago, on the other side of Tamagotchi World, called Kingsland, there were a clutter of castles and towns, despite all being different and all originating from different Tamagotchi Tribes (Mame Meme Kuchi Loveli), they all thought of themselves as one. Some of the castles were magnificent, with sparkling grey bricks that glimmered in the distance, and colorful flags that would catch anyone's attention. The towns, were poor, and life was hard for them, but they were joyful, and got through the hard times through laughter and play.
To put it all together, generally the whole population had a bit of happiness in their life's. There were also rich towns, but they were very generous to the poorer towns, and gave them supplies and food. However, the rich towns and giant towns, and especially the poor towns were absolutely nothing compared to The Great Gotchi Castle of Kingsland. The Great Gotchi Castle of Kingsland was huge, it overlooked all the towns, rich and poor, and was triple the size of any other castle in the area. This giant castle, with golden bricks and a huge chocolate brown door that was decorated with rare diamonds, was home to the Royal Gotchi Family. Other castles were home to the rulers of the rich towns, the poor town's rulers lived in big houses, however these "big houses" were only the size of a rich Tamagotchi's house.
The Royal Gotchi Family consisted of, Princess Gotch-Gotch, Prince Tam-Tam, the Gotchi Queen, and the Gotchi King. They ruled all of Kingsland and were very trustworthy and goodhearted people and were of course, loved by all their people.
Chapter 2
Big Dreams...
Like any other ordinary morning, the giant tower located just outside of Kingsland, rung it's bells at 6:30am, Tama Time, and soon the loud ding was heard throughout the whole land. The bell was made to do a lot of things, like to alert Tamagotchi's that it was time to wake up, or get ready for a day at school, or go to work, it basically signaled that the day was about to begin. All over Kingsland, Tamagotchi's woke up, and got ready for the day ahead of them. Poor Tamagotchi's did not have breakfast, however on a lucky day, a genorous rich Tamagotchi may give their scraps to a family. It was little, but it was against a Kingsland Citizen's nature to be ungrateful. Before long, the streets of the towns were transformed into pathways for thousands of Tamagotchi's, to get along with their daily business, whether it be assisting a rich Tamagotchi during their shopping or cooking, or going the serve a ruler of their town. But for one young Kikitchi, his days were always different.
Kyu Village was where this Kikitchi lived. This town, was an old town, it was the least populated town in all of Kingsland, with only about one hundred Tamagotchis living there. Kikitchi loved the town where he lived, he loved the people, but at the same time he hated his life there. Kyu Town Tamagotchis were different from the others, you wouldn't be able to tell by just looking at them though. The Kyu Village Tamagotchis all had something in common, they were all afraid of change. They all tried their best to keep things the same, if a chair broke, they would get it fixed as soon as possible so they could keep it. Also, they avoided visiting the other towns, because the surroundings would change, and frighten them. So the people remained inside their village. Their name of their town was also different, years and years ago, Tamagotchi's suddenly stopped using the word "village" and replaced it with "town". However the Kyu Village Tamagotchis would have nothing to do with it. There was however, on exception to their town. This Kikitchi, was different. He didn't like to go to school because all they learned was the old version of things, they never learned about other places, or how you spell a word different sometimes. Another reason was because he simply didn't like it there, all the furniture was ancient and dirty, if you blew dust off others would stare at you. So Kikitchi stayed at home, wondering what lay outside Kingsland, whenever he asked someone, a simple "there is no reason to need to know" is what they would reply. This frustrated him a lot.
Kikitchi was laying flat in his bed, wondering. He wondered what other villages were like, what was outside of Kingsland, he even dreamed of exploring different lands. Once, he asked his mother if he could do that, but his mother replied, "Why would you want to? What if its not what you want? And what if its so different you can't bear it?". But Kikitchi still wanted to explore, despite what anyone said. They can't influence me, he thought to himself, they don't know anything. And with that, Kikitchi drifted off into a long sleep.
Kikitchi heard walking, so he opened his eyes. His mother was there, she had a mad look on her face. "Why aren't you at school? You are not sick," she said. Kikitchi stared at her. "I don't like it at school, its boring." Mamakikitchi's face was red with anger, she looked like she was trying to contain her anger, as being angry was not her, and it frightened her to be angry. "Others are starting to question me, they ask me if your different. If you need..." her voice dribbled away. Kikitchi waited for her to continue, but after a short silence he spoke up. "If I need what?" he asked, curiously. Mamakikitchi stared at him. "If you need to be banished."
Chapter 3
My Own Mother...
A lot was going through Kikitchi's head. He knew the people of his village didn't like him, but he didn't think it would go this far. Could his village, really want to banish him? I'm just one person, he thought to himself, its not like I'm gonna effect them all. "Kikitchi, I agree with them."
Kikitchi looked up, his eyes filled with tears. He felt betrayed, his mother wanted him banished, his whole village wanted him gone. A voice inside of him was telling him he was a failure, that nobody wanted him. It felt like all of his past just punched him in the stomach. "How... you..." he managed to mutter. Mamakikitchi just stared at him. "Nobody likes you here. Including me." she replied. Yet again, it felt like someone had just punched him in the stomach. How could this be happening? he thought. "My own mother...." he thought aloud. His mother looked like she could not care less about him now, this was not in her nature, she was annoyed at Kikitchi, for no reason. "Nobody likes you, and I've already filed for your banishment." she said.
Banishment was a serious thing in Kingsland, if one person was banished from a village or town, they were automatically banished from Kingsland. If Kikitchi was banned, his whole life would change. He would have to find someplace else to live, he might not find it, he might just die out in the wilderness. What did I do to deserve this? he thought. This is unfair. I can't believe my own mother has turned against me...
A shaking brought Kikitchi back to reality. His mother was shaking him. "Your trial is tomorrow." she said. Kikitchi stared at her, he was filled with rage. "You are not my mother, I do not love you. I hate you. I do not need a trial. I want to leave this filthy village!" he screamed at her. But before he could say anything else, he felt a tight grip on his shoulders, and he swirled into darkness.
Stomp. Stomp. Stomp. It sounded like a Tamagotchi with very large boots was walking along. Kikitchi couldn't see anything, he didn't know where he was, and he couldn't move. He found himself drifting to sleep, another swirl of darkness.
Thud! Light.... Kikitchi could see light. He found himself laying on the ground, looking up at a purple sky. Ouch! he thought. Kikitchi could feel a sharp aching in his forehead, almost as if someone had hit him with something strong. It all came back to him. He could remember. He had seen his dad, PapaKikitchi. His father was untying him, and then he threw him on the ground. Kikitchi had rolled onto his side, to see his father walk away. Wearing big boots.
Chapter 4
My Own Father...
The blurry light that surrounded Kikitchi started to reveal itself. Slowly, he was able to see clearly. He was lying on the ground, his eyes were wet, and he could see a trail of footprints. Suddenly a gentle breeze swept them away. Kikitchi didn't know where he was. But he knew why he was there. He had been banished. He got to his feet, and took a good look around. Surrounding him was a ruff, kind of grassy surface, and a bunch of tree's, with crisp leaves that rustled in the wind that whistled like his mother used to just before dinner was ready.
Eventually, Kikitchi started to walk along. The crunchy leaves crunched below his feet, and he did not know where he was going. He knew that he was no longer welcome in Kingsland, and that he had been banished. He knew. But Kikitchi found that, he was not that upset. He had always wanted to explore was lay outside of Kingsland, and now he was outside of Kingsland. Emotions swirled in his mind, he was happy and miserable at the same time. As time went by, and the leaves crunched, he started to piece together what had happened. His father, had bashed him with something heavy, then filed for banishment, then dumped him somewhere, maybe miles, or thousands of miles, away from Kingsland. Kikitchi felt, so, so, betrayed. First his mother, second his father. How could he ever trust anyone?
The sun set, and soon the moonlight was the only thing helping Kikitchi see. A large mountain appeared in front of him. It was a basic mountain, it was rocky, and had snow on the tip. In the center however, there was a cave. Kikitchi tumbled into a run, his eyes drooping and his skin wet with sweat. Darkness was surrounding him yet again, but not for the same reason this time. Because he was in a very very dark cave.
Kikitchi collapsed, and with a thud he lay sleeping.
Chapter 5
A New Beginning...
Kikitchi awoke. The sun was rising and a warm light was filling the cave, and birds were tweeting. Just like the perfect mornings Kikitchi heard about in story books. He lay on the floor of the cave, facing outwards, looking at what lay beyond the cave. It was an endless row of trees, thousands of tall, tall, trees. The more he loooked into the distance, the taller they got, some of them looked like they were triple the size of the mountain in which the cave was. Kikitchi decided that he would go explore, he had been there before, when he had walked all that way.
As he Trudged along the dirty grassy surface, Kikitchi thought. The trees really look very far away, he thought, had I really traveled all that way before on my way to the cave? Kikitchi was walking, until he noticed something. It was slowly getting colder. He could see his breath, and the ground had a frost on it.
Suddenly he saw something, behind a tree. Then it was gone. Like it had flashed away when it had been seen.
Kikitchi looked up at the sky, it was purple. He was frightened, that one thing he had seen, was making him jumpy. Every time he heard a rustle he'd jump around. Suddenly another rustle. Kikitchi jumped around to find something running towards him. It suddenly all sank in. Running. He had to run. Kikitchi broke into a sprint, but he was not fast enough. Before long he tripped over, but before he reached the ground he felt wind on his face, like he was flying.
Kikitchi opened his eyes, he was lying on a greenish wooden surface. He stood up. He could see a bunch of green ahead of him, and a fence that surrounded the surface that reached his shoulders. Walking towards the fence, he took a look over. To Kikitchi's horror, he found himself looking down at a one thousand meter drop.
Chapter 6
Shizen?
Kikitchi had fainted from seeing the high drop, and he had lay there, until what found him took him somewhere.
A cool sensation woke Kikitchi up, water was trickling down his face. "He has awaken," said a gentle, but stern female voice. "Thank you for finding him." another voice said. Two faces appeared in front of Kikitchi. Kikitchi could tell they were both Tamagotchis. One had white face paint on, and Makiko-like curls, three or four of them formed a fringe, this one also had very sparky eyes. The other face paint had a sort of peach colored face paint on, and had green Mametchi-like ears, and his eyes were a dark grass green. He could tell the first one was female, and the second was males. The female looked Kikitchi's age, and the male looked slightly older.
The two faces stared at Kikitchi for a while, before saying something. "Do you know our language?" asked the female. Kikitchi nodded. "My name is Kikitchi," he said. The female looked at him more, like she had never seen someone like him. "My name is Iryotchi, and this is my older brother, Shojikinatchi. I suppose you wonder where you are?" she asked him. Kikitchi nodded, he did wonder. Where was he?
Shojikinatchi began to speak. "You are in Shizen. We are a tribe, living here in the Ijo forest. We live in an untouched land, never has someone like you came into the Ijo forest. But anyway, you are in Shizen. We live in the tree's, high above land, because of our fear. A long time ago, the Kingsland Tama's pushed us away from our land, we used to own Kingsland. They tried to go to war with us, they were obsessive with taking our land. In the end we lost, and we left. However they were not done with us, they kept finding us, threatening us, trying to... wipe us out. They were not like any Tamagotchi, the Tama's of Shizen say they are not Tamagotchis at all, they are demons. We currently live in the tree's, which are all connected by paths. We have an entire village up here, we are doing better then the Kingsland Tamas."
"So, where are you from?" asked Iryotchi. Kikitchi stared at her, not wanting to tell her the truth. Iryotchi somehow figured it out though. "He's from Kingsland." she said. "He's from dirty, filthy, Kingsland," she repeated.
