Here's the details from Bandai Japan's Official Website:

A special treat for Tamagotchi Plus fans, in the form of an Olympic-style games event with the emphasis on audience participation. The program will include contests, quizzes and games tournaments to be played using the "Tamatsu" infrared communications function. Individual invitations are being issued to 400 fans.

Anyone got anymore information than that? All I have is that(what's above) and the data and location....Lol.
