Part 20-2
He hadn't spotted me. I tapped Vicky on the back and pointed to him. She gasped and hid me underneath an oversized coat on a coat rack hanging from the wall. Baines instantly spotted Vicky and came over to her.
'How did you get here?' Baines screamed at her, 'How did you get here?' Vicky paused, thinking of an answer. But she didn't know what to say.
'I never want to see you here again!' Baines screamed again. Two guards came over to her and escorted her into the lift and sent her back up to the sewers. I was all alone, in the same room as Baines with no form of protection. Out of the coat all I could see was a rising lift shaft behind me. I felt sorry for Vicky, but most of all, I felt sorry for me. I heard Baines whispering to his fellow workers (or assistants maybe). Luckily I could just hear what he was saying.
'He's escaped,' Baines whispered, 'I don't know where he went. He just escaped, vanished into thin air.' I heard another voice that I recognised as the removal man's.
'It's that Vicky,' he replied, 'She's helping him, I bet ya.' Baines paused before replying.
'But how does she know about this place? How?'

About five people spoke together this time.
'Victoria,' they all said. I could just see a lady turning around, looking at them in disgust. It was Victoria's face!
'But, but...' she argued, not able to finish her sentence as another man I didn't know interrupted, 'You stupid girl! You let your mother overhear your phone conversations!' That man spoke in a very strong scottish accent. I heard the lift return down to the base and out of the corner of my eye, I saw Vicky step out. She was wearing sunglasses, makeup and weird clothes and shoes, trying not to be recognised. She stood out completely as nearly everybody in the lab was wearing a white jacket. Baines tapped his foot and shook his head at her.
'Nice try Vicky, now seize her!' I couldn't exactly see it but heard her screaming and shouting. Her voice was quickly silenced by someone putting their hand over her mouth. She was being dragged because I could hear the sound of her heels on the sparkling marble floor. I was scared.
'You're going to the dungeon miss!' I could hear Vicky sobbing despite the fact, someones hand was over her mouth. I wanted to help her. But I would be risking my life.
'How did my mum find out?' Victoria asked.
