y is there bad words? what makes them bad? i dont get it!! we can say "DARN" but we cant say "DA**" ? it makes no sense theres no point!! if anyone has an explination i would be very happy! i asked my teacher this question and she gave me detention she didnt even tell me why! whay do we have to bleep them out? IM CUNFUZZLED!!!!

The same question can be asked with many other things like certain gesture, sounds, certain body parts, etc. I am not sure why it is bad, or vulgar, but I'll do some research.

I ponder this too. You cant say f**k or s**t yet you can say sex because it can mean gender too. They are just a different arrangement of letters. You can say poo but not s**t and it means exactly the same.
