The young mimitchi peered curiously into the shrubs of bushes. RUSTLE. RUSTLE. ''Ow!'' He cried as a chubby, short finger reached out and poked him right in the eye. Tears rolling down his cheeks, he took a small pair of scissors out of his pocket which had been there for a few days and snipped off part of a branch. What was in there? Another, another. He felt glorious, brave and invincible. But then he felt the world spinning as something dug into his stomach and sent shots and volts up his body. He felt himself shrinking rapidly, and his light blue ears flopped into his head. His legs popped into body with a sickening SSSSCCCHHRROPPP and his arms went too. He screamed, but it came out as a whine. Then, Mo {his name} realised what was happening. He was turning into a........''Hello there sweetie! What are you doing here out on the road? You poor thing! Your mama shouldn't leave you out on the street no she shouldn't, you little cutie!'' Mo was scooped up and soon he found himself at a police station, where they popped a bottle in his kouth. He sucked on it, and it was awful- but he was hungry and had skipped lunch.
Outside in one of the gardens at Trigmore Lane, Sally the baby-zapper laughed to herself. Another day, another toddler. She crawled on all floors and cried. It wasn't later that someone took her in,cooed at her and put her in a cradle with some other baby, and once again she escaped. The lady hadn't even noticed he lazer-shot in Sally's paw. ''Who will be my next victim?'' she pondered.
