"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs., what was that, again?", a soft voice rolls from across the room. " Just call us Augest and May", a deep whispy voice responds. "I just hope Auren will be happy in his new home.", All of these voices ringing around in Auren's head, unfirmilliar words, strange faces.
Exactly otwo years later...
"Auren, honey, wake up, just because it's your birthday doesn't mean you can skip school!".
"I know, I know, five more minutes mom?".
"Okay, but I'm setting your alarm clock for it.
"Ring ring, ring ring."
As Auren walks downstairs, the unmistakable aroma of cake and eggs sails into his nostrails, pulling him towards the kitchen.
"Auren, you've grown so much, it seems just yesterday you were evolving into a kutchitamachi, now you're a hinotamachi, you remind me so much of your father, when we were teens, soon you'll be a Dorochi, just like he was before..." *starts sobbing*
"C'mon mom, try not to think about it, it was a long time ago."
"I know, but... Anyways, I made you a special breakfeast, cake and eggs."
As Auren gobbles down the cake and eggs, he looks up at the clock, "Woah, mom I gotta get going, I can't be late on my first day at the gotchi preforming arts school."
Auren hastedly rushes out the door, kissing his mom goodbye, and grabbing his lunch.
