My tamagotchi said on the screen: LONLEY? YES NO. I chose no and nothing happened was it the matchmaker or not????

yes. If you click no, your tama wont have a baby & you will need to find a partner yourself. If you chose yes, your tama would have had a baby & you will be up to generation 2 in less than 2 days.

thats right but the question is quite confusing...it kinda means : Are you lonely? or in other words : Do you have a partner?...then you either choose yes meaning you dont have a partner and need the match maker to help you find one or no which means you have a partner already.
