Are there really 100?

Are there really 100 tama-go figurines? Cause on Amazon, it says, "Collect all 100 Tamatown Gotchi Character Figures." How many are there really?

I think they originally planned on having a good hundred or so. But as you can see they changed their mind. Likely had something to do with lack of interest in the market
