Anyone ever mated adult v1 with v4.5 succesfully?

I am thinking of buying a v1 connection, because mine was stolen lol

And I really want to know if it can MATE (not just connect) with my v4.5s because I have two 4.5s and of course once they mate, they always have 2 babies of the same gender and I have to wait at least a generation, til they've been matched by the matchmaker, had kids, and produced opposite gender offspring before I can mate through connection again. Which isn't as fun lol
