Go to the fifth icon, a door, and select "shop". Sometimes there are food and sometimes there are items. Keep checking back to see if there is an item for sale.
the shop should restock/change items at 6PM i don't remember the other times but one is in the morning and another is in the afternoon making 6PM the evening
