To get training points you need to make use of the praise & time out options.
If your tama turns its back to you or starts to cry (and not because it is hungry or unhappy) then you need to praise it and you will get one point.
If your tama puts on the attention light (when it's not hungry or unhappy) or if your tama refuses to eat when it is hungry or if your tama gives another tama a nasty present (like poo) then it is time to give your tama time out.
Each time you praise or punish your tama you will get on training point/bar.
