G'day,
For those who are wondering, Bandai released a special tamagotchi called the Akai.
It's a Keitai tamagotchi, which means that it's the Japanese V2, it's entirely in Japanese and can connect to Japanese Mobile Phones, but the Akai has an interesting twist - instead of the screen having black icons and pixels, they're RED.
I got one of eBay a week ago and I've just scanned it in. You can see it here:
https://everest.fit.qut.edu.au/~n4393252/pu...ccess/akai.html. This design is called "Ma Jide".
Also, you can see all the designs of the Akai (except a rumoured special edition) on the official Bandai page (scroll right down to the bottom). The top six have been released in Japan, and the bottom three will be released on the 27 August 2005. Alas, the text is in Japanese:https://tamagotch.channel.or.jp/akai/
Cheers
Matt
