a v4.5 glitch

Every single time I check the Food Presents I say that I got 22 balls and 1 Sandwitch .Has ever happened to you,v4/v4.5 owners?

This is The Ball Glitch. I've had it several times on my V4. Bandai said it's a known problem. (If I remember correctly, Bandai said it can occur if a child consumes a food that its parent purchased before it left the child in your care.) I don't know why Bandai didn't fix it for the V4.5 if they knew so much about it on the V4.

Theres also that I can't buy the first or third items if they are food.

if you've trashed some items, that can also enable the ball glitch. and since you have all those balls, the unit acts as if you've already gotten 15 items (the max.), so you can't buy other foods from the shop. to fix it, try and eat all the balls or trash them, but if that doesn't work, try a reset +download. if that doesn't work you may have to do a reset.

It occurs less on the V4.5, but this still is a glitch hopefully Bandai will take care of this by V5 because it is the most common Tamagotchi Connection glitch.
