I heard my friend talking about this story last Tuesday. She said that her Mom read it somewhere, but it's not true! It's simplyto tell the world a lesson about strong friendships. What are your thoughts on it? Here is the story (note-I'm making up the names):

Two girls were playing quite nicely together. One of the girls was named Brittany, and the other named Sammy. They had been best friend since kindergarten, and now they were in the second grade. Brittany was daring and curious, while Sammy was catious and quiet. "Come on Sammy! Let's clim that cliff. I see some rocks we can climb." Brittany said, dragging Sammy by her hand. "No I don't think we should! The cliff looks too high. We might fall. My Papa wouldn't want me too..." Sammy said, backing awya. "Please!" Brittany shouted innocently, pulling Sammy up the rocks. Sammy slowly agreed to go up. Once they reached the edge of the cliff, Sammy looked down and realized for the first time how far they had climbed. "Uh, Brittany. I think we should go back down." Brittany (who had not yet reached the top) yelled, "No way! I want to see the view from up here." Brittany reached the cliff's edge and grabbed on. Pulling herself up, and landed swiftly on her feet. She turned her head and said to Sammy, "The air is nice and crisp up here." Brittany wasn't looking where she was walking and tripped off the edge. Sammy gasped, and jumped down after her. Hours passed, and finally somebody found the girls dead below the cliff. He reported two dead girls, side by side, holding hands.

She said that it was meant to tell people how strong friendships can be, and that friends are probably one of the most important people in your life. What do you think of it?

That's sad o.o'

Though the holding hands thing kind of reminds me what my friends say to each other. It's loving in a really weird way.

'If you had cancer, I'd get it too just so we could die together!'

It's sad but nice. Sweet but creepy.

That must of been a strong friendship.

Another moral is to stand up for yourself if you think something's not right.

I've heard that one before! It is sad, but its got a good moral. It seems kind of scary though... But like you all said, its sweet!
