A question about Connection V4 sound maker

Hi, this is my first post!! I was wondering if anyone knows what the stuff around sound maker thing on my Connection V4 is? is it rust or mold? is that the sound maker? should i be worried about it? and can you add pictures to a post? I don't know how?

The metals that they use for the speakers on these devices tend to tarnish over time. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong here - it's just due to age.
