A poem I wrote for Rememberence Day

THis is a poem I wrote for remembrence day. I know it's late to post it, but when I wrote it is was Rememberence Day. So here it is; please tell me what you liked about it or didn't like.

~Shall we Remember~

A poppy here and a poppy there

There are poppies everywhere

They mark the place where they were buried

Those soldiers who fought in war

I wish that we'd all agree

To do this fighting no more

The gunshots and cries of pain

Flow through our very veins

Sadness and fear

May we shed a tear

For those who fought in war

I wish that we'd all agree

To do this fighting no more

Every night I sleep

And I have dreams of tanks and blood

With the soldiers up to their knees in mud

For us they fought in war

I wish we'd all agree

To do this fighting no more
