Well, I like looking at peoples' profiles and seeing what they type and whatnot. Well, I look at how many posts the person has. Below that it will say in parentheses 0. bladabla percent of total forum posts. What does that mean? Oh, and why does Role Play posts not count as cumulative posts? Help if you can! Look at this wittle face!

Roleplay does not count because most of what you post there is basically SPAM. But in a way, I guess we can call it good SPAM. ;)

It says whatever percent in whatever forum because it let's you know which forum you post the most in.

we encourage role plays (in the right area) but don't think it is right to count those posts the same as others who are contributing in the regular forums.

The percentage of total forum posts is a way to see who is active where. That's all

Post Count doesn't mean anything anyway. We don't use it to grade members, or place them into different levels or categories.

They don't count roleplay posts because alot of people take part in TONS of roleplays, making hundreds of posts a day. It's not actually a "real post" so it's not counted. ^_^ But roleplay is always encouraged at Tamatalk!
