A Idea related to Tamagotchi Mating

I recently posted a topic here about the old days about when everyone had a Tamagotchi or some variation of a virtual pet. And someone who responded to it mentioned that it would be great because then those of us with Tama's would never have to use the Matchmaker or Dating places put into our Tama's again.

This recently brought an idea to mind. What if we could mate our Tama's over the internet?

I was thinking that maybe they could put a Dating Palace on Tama Town and people could connect their Tama's there? By use of a special scanner or something that pops up on the screen.

Here's how I think it could work. People log their Tama into Tama Town and go to the Dating Palace that would be on the site, and upon entering there will be two desks, one for simple play dates and one for mating. Going to either will give a list of people who are currently on along with the Tamagotchi characters states and picture. You click their picture and your given an option to send a request for mating or to connect to play with them if you went to the play date desk or change your mind. Saying yes to it will send the request and then the other person has to agree. When both are ready a little scanner pops up (I think a good idea for this would be an image of a connectible Tama facing you as if ready to connect with the sensor at the top being where you have to point your Tama) and asks you to act as if that scanner was an actual connectible Tama and do what you normally would do to connect one Tama to the other. If you had gone to the mating desk they will mate, play date desk then they will play a game with each other. And just like normal connecting the person will be added to your friends list in your Tamagotchi. The scanner could basically transfer the signals over to the other Tama through the internet.

I thought about the play date desk being used to raise the relationship like with connecting normally...but both people would have to be on or be checking a lot and that could get annoying. You would be able to do that but for mating it would be optional since not everyone would be able to be on to connect enough. It would be possible for like us here on TamaTalk and we could make plans with each other but not everyone can do that like I said.

I got the idea from remembering the Test Tube Alien toys. The site for that had a blinking scanner that popped up and interacted with the Test Tube Alien toy and said what character it was along with the care it was being given up to that point.

I know that Tama's probably wouldn't work in the exact same way as those alien toys, but maybe something similar?

That's a really good idea! However, Bandai would have to make a whole new Tamagotchi with these capabilities- and they aren't going to for quite a while, probably just more Gotchi figures, they're cheaper. It's an awesome idea though!!

I think they might be able to do it with the current connectible Tamagotchi's. They just might need to make something that transferred the Tama's connection signal over the internet. Or have it mimic the other Tamagotchi's connection signal to register the other Tama's information for play dates, mating and registering to the friends list in the memeory area of the Tama.
