I watched as she was taken away from my arms and to the depths of the hospital. I wasn't allowed back there, so I stood as sadness took over my body. But I knew she'd be out of this medical hole in no time, it's only been 2 weeks.
I sat in the chairs in the lobby of the hospital, with Meloditchi on my mind. I knew she'd be okay, but the clean scent of medicine made me think otherwise. I can't trust hospitals that much, and now they have my mother's Tamagotchi. A doctor came out a few minutes later to take me somewhere, but to me it felt like years. "Her case is worse than we thought," She calmly said as we walked down the white hallway. My heart began beating faster as we neared a window. We stopped, giving me the opportunity to look inside. From the window, I saw Meloditchi hooked up to a ton of medical equipment with doctors standing by. My heart felt as if it was disintegrating while I was watching the heart monitor. The beats didn't look normal, they were slowing down every second. I couldn't help but call out "No!" as tears filled my eyes. "Just please hang on!" Her ears twitched, and a miraculous thing happened. Her heart beat was steady again.
It's like she's trying to live for me, she's hanging on...
My tears dried up and a smile stretched across my face. She was going to be okay!
