Best friends is fairly easy but a bit hard to accomplish with boy/girl couples. My tips:
{*}Put a new battery in both tamagotchis before starting the relationship.
{*}The reason for that is because connecting uses A LOT of battery juice and you don't want your tamas to die.
{*}Make sure you have a list of v3 likes and dislikes on hand. (This topic has good chart.(TZ) This is the chart.)
{*}Wrap up favorite foods to give to you best friend!
And here is the way to get it done:
[SIZE=14pt]THIS WORKS REALLY WELL FOR SAME SEX, NOT BOY GIRL. Couples just turn into couples and I have seen them skip over the best friend stage.[/SIZE]
Prepare for your long friend ship just after your baby has grown up. (You CAN connect when your a baby!) Using the tips above you can get to best friend level in no time. My suggestion for connecting: Connect 2 times a day on the weekdays (night & morning) and 3 times on the weekend. (morning, lunch, & dinner) When you connect, connect in a pattern...Boy,Girl,Boy,Girl, and so on. Here are tips for the connection options:
>Present
Wrap favorite foods or expensive items to give you your friend. REMINDER: Expensive items can be sent back, like so:
T=throne T1=Tama who had throne T2=throne receiving tama
T1>>T<<T2
T1 gives the throne to T2, who uses it once then wraps it up and gives it back to T1.
>Visit
The one who clicks when the stand by screen is up is the one who goes to visit.
>Game
A random pick of a game, no theory of who will win. But, I suggest you still go in a pattern using the same technique as visit and present. (Boy, Girl, Boy, Girl)
In a couple of days, usually bye the time your Tamagotchi is a teen, you should have the best friend meter up.
