1997 version, i don't get all the adult forms.

i think that it is a version 2.

according the menu picture posted on this site, i have never got the top two adult forms.

i tried to feed and play as soon as possible it only has 3 stars. in the end, i usually always get that alien form.

i start to think that maybe my tamagotchi doesn't have the top 2 programed?

The way all the tamas are programmed is that you get different characters according to how well you care for your tamagotchi.

It's not very clear which chart you were looking at or which version you have. The V2 was not sold in 1997 - so I am guessing perhaps you have a P2?

You will not get certain characters unless you care really well for them - it's really (really, really) unlikely that your particular tama doesn't have two characters programmed into it)

Try to improve on the care you give when you raise your tama. For example, never miss any feeding so they are never hungry, play plenty of games to keep them happy, collect your training points and make sure you praise or punish them.

i get all the four adult forms, but not the top 2. i think that mine is a P2, it was made in 1997. or do i have another version?

P1/P2 are short for Phase 1 and Phase 2.
