Best suggestion I can note is soldering it. If the wires broke off at the speaker, that's what's gotta be done. If you're not experienced at it, I reccomend taking it to a professional. A cell-phone or computer repair place MIGHT do it.

It's sleeping, you're good, just turn the light off. If you wait too long to turn the light off (it's either 15 or 20 minutes) then it counts as a care miss. If you haven't seen it fall asleep before, this could be why you've been overall struggling 👍
