I think it may be set to a 24 hour clock. If changing the time, does it go to 13:00, 14:00 etc when changing the hour?

Oh! That's simply a dead battery screen! You need to replace the battery/batteries in your toy. Although kinda crude looking due to the low resolution pixels, it is actually a picture of a battery with an "X" through it. What kind of Tamagotchi toy is that? I'll see if I can dig up any...

Yeah when connecting using "Others" it makes the toys act like they're both two V1 toys connecting. V1s could connect but it would be random on what happened. (which you've likely noticed when using Others). You can more easily notice this on the V2 as it has two options: Ver. 2 and Ver. 1. If...

For the Debug thing, you can debug it and then "Download" and continue where you were, but aside from the the "turbo speed" mode you won't get much else like choosing the character. I think you can if the character passes away though. Been about ten years since I last used a V3.
