On most of those tams, you go to the connection icon and select the option that has "PC" written just before the japanese characters. It will give you a log-in code for the respective tama town.

there is no way to stop it. The letters kind of cycle thru good and bad things. When you get a heart in the letter, it'll fill all of your happy hearts though :D KM

When the mail comes, different things will come each time. In the letters, you could get poo which will take away all of your tamas happy hearts, or a heart which will fill all happy hearts. It's just a cute thing bandai incorporated into the tamas. KM
