Has anyone tried taking note of the family group thier tama mated with? Maybe it is similar to the entama where breeding a certain group to a certain group leads to a certain type of baby. That could be why they grow to be the same each generation? KM

No, the older tamas won't "ask" you. Once you press the reset button on the back, press B on the front. That will take you to the clock screen. A changes the hour, B changes the minute, and C exits out. Holding A+C together will allow you to correct the time if you accidentally set it wrong...
