I go to sleep around 2:00 AM and don't wake up until sometime between 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, depending on if it's a weekend or not. I set my tamas to go to sleep at 12:00 to 2:00 AM depending on the version to make sure that I don't wake up to a dead tama.

I think it has something to do with the amount of stars you get on the heart or fitness part of your fortune that you get in the mail. The fortune is the one shaped like a star. My tamas do that when they get a bad fortune on my 4.5s. It's normal.

I heard that there's a glitch where Friends sometimes won't connect after the batteries were changed, but I don't know much about it. Have you tried taking the batteries out and putting them back in again? Maybe they'll connect again.
