testor's model paints are another option. they're made to be used with plastic models. however, they should be applied in a well-ventilated area, as the fumes can become overpowering.

Yep, battery is CR2032, and it only takes one. This looks superficially like my light blue v1, but like has already been said, the quality is poor, the background isn't quite right, and the letters on the buttons, as well as pixel resolution. This looks like a JD fake.

Nothing wrong with that shell design, it's kinda pretty. The V4 takes one CR2032 battery. You can get a quantity of them on ebay for very reasonable prices.

I'd just rather see them fly away in a spaceship back to Tama planet instead of dying. That would still get the message across that the person didn't care for the tama, so it just left, not died.

Not really. I visited a few times, but wasn't really interested. I had more fun connecting two tamas, and let them interact instead.

What derekq said. I thought the same thing when I got mine years ago. Then it dawned on me.

A blue Ps, already patched to English. Then I have to get the pierces. I've heard so much about this version, and got this one for a great deal. I already have an IR port.

I can agree with Jokus here; I had a similar issue with one of mine. The battery was old; it had been in the tama for quite a while, and for no reason, mine died too. It didn't do it again after I put in a new battery. Some of these tamas get glitchy when the battery runs down, before the X...

Yep, your red one is a fake. My aqua Rakuraku Dinokun is the same as yours, only the Japanese version. Even for the English one, the packaging for your red one is wrong, as well as the shape. Similar yeah, but different. If you can't mute it, then it is fake.
