I don't reccomend debuging, only because many people ruin there Tamas with it. Its almost Like Action Replay, sometimes it screws up your game. But it sounds pretty cool though :)

Well everyones Life Style Is busy and I understand where you are coming from Tamagotchis interfearing with life or Vice Versa. I know you don't Like pausing it, but in some situations do so. Or What I do is I don't pause it, I leave it untill I come home, A Tamagotchi can stay alone by its self...

You know its up to Bandai. If you keep buying there Tamagotchi Product they will keep making more, knowing you like them. I think they will keep going only because There are so many fans,and supporters!
