I finally took pictures of my collection.

All the ones I have come from eBay. Just search "pokemon center charm". A lot of them are pricey (especially with shipping from Japan), but if you're patient, you'll come across some cheaper buy-it-now options every once in a while.

Finally got my iD!

It's called TamaMori Town. It looks new. Mori means forest, so a woodland town? Sounds interesting, whatever it is!

I hatched my v4.5. It's a little girl, and I named her June.

Today, Nintendo finally officially announced remakes to 2003's Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire. The games are due out in November. Here is the reveal trailer: //www.tamatalk.com/IB/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png

And even if it doesn't show up during those dates, don't stress out about it too much. I ordered a Tamagotchi from Japan, and it got stuck in customs, but it did arrive safe and sound eventually :)

A simple eyeglass repair kit does wonders. They run for $2-$5 at Walmart (and basically any other store), and they're great for Tamagotchi screws (from the tiny vintage screws to the larger, deeper Tama-Go screws).

I hope this isn't too far off-topic, and I certainly am not trying to hijack the topic, but could any of you offer a range of what one might expect to pay for a 15th Anniversary iD L? I, too, am interested in one, but since there are only a couple on eBay, it's hard to tell what the expected...

As long as there is no leakage (you'll know right away if there is), then they won't cause any harm. Most likely, though, they will not last long (they lose their power over time), so you might want to put fresh LR44 batteries in anyway.

Got these in a trade. I love them! I think the one on the right is an Entama, which makes it my first Japanese Connection-era Tamagotchi.

Using alcohol is a good idea, but try to avoid using it directly on any paint. The actual plastic of the shell will be fine, but any painted detailing could be worn by using chemicals.

NIB Tamagotchi Oceans (the English version, not the Japanese Umino) go very high. Even used ones usually go for a minimum of $150 on eBay, so that alone is worth the price.

I didn't know this toy existed. Did it offer any connectivity with the Pokémon Ranger games? Kind of like how the PokéWalker could communicate with HeartGold/SoulSilver via infrared?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that there was ever a Japanese yellow Angelgotchi. Therefore, I would guess that its regional exclusiveness simply makes it more special for collectors, and therefore tends to boost its value.

Even though she was pretty much the mascot at one time, I feel as though Mimitchi has become very overlooked in recent years. Can you even get her on the newer color Tamas?
