    Batteries EXPLODING?

Keep them in a cardboard box.... and when you pick up the batteries, use a paper towel and throw out both the towel and battery. Touching the battery is extremely dangerous, because it is full of battery ACID. Touching it with your bare skin can cause it to burn, and if you don't wash your hands...

    "Don't Stop Making Tamas!" Petition

Age: 14 Gender: Female Country: United States Comment: I've had tamas since 1st grade and I LOVE them! I still play with them. The Tamagotchi Color is a nice thing, but I think the tamas should be less expensive, though I love them! The characters ARE getting a little too fancy-shmancy...

    My V6 got wet...Now it's HAUNTED!

Sorry, but when you said it fed itself a meal, I burst out laughing!!! 2 years ago I bought a chocolate argyle v4.5 off of Amazon. I got it, and the day after (it was Summer) I was wading in our pool while it was filling up. It was up to my thighs and I had the tama on a lanyard. I was walking...

    How you became a Tama-Fan

In 1st grade the v1 came out....some girl in my class had one. Then my best friend got a "friendship pack" or something with 2 tamas in it. So then I begged and begged for one... for my birthday my uncles sent me money, so I had $125 to spend at Target for a little birthday spree...I almost...

    Are tamas for boys?

I think tamas are for both genders... it doesn't matter. They all have fun characters, competitive games, etc. Just some people think it's for girls, because it's more geared to girls now.... maternal instincts!! lol. They have all these super-girly designs now....I only like a couple of them...

    Do You Tinker With Tamagotchis?

As far as tinkering goes....no. I only mod them by replacing keychains, putting on glitter, rhinestones, etc. I have 8 tamas (v1-v5) and I'm too afraid of breaking one. I don't buy them anymore, and the nostalgia is too precious.

Which is better, original or newer tamagotchi?

I like the versions all the way up to 4.5. After that, they lose their originality, and they aren't so fun anymore because Bandai is trying SO HARD to make them better.

Other people harming your other tamas....

I HATE toddlers... I have no idea why. But sometimes I have to babysit a 5 year old (she's sweet) and her 2 year old sister... by the way, their parents are really irresponsible. I have a small room, and Breyer horses, seashells, and little fish tanks and plants are perched all over my room, not...

Your reasons for getting uninterested in tamagotchis?

I love Tamagotchis so much... but once I have enough points (maybe 2000) to buy all the items I want, I just buy items at the shop. That is eventually what happens. I only check on my Tamas evey hour and I just clean up poo, heal, give food, maybe play a game, go to the shop, go on a spree, then...

    How to rmove Tamagotchi paint?

lol I'd freak out too. Haha I sometimes do that just to warm people even if they don't have something dangerous I'm mentioning...hehe I just found the Silly Putty. It's dried out. I'm gonna pick some up at a gas station maybe 1/2 mile away from my house. I'll walk there tomorrow. I won't get...

    Comm'on Bandai.

I agree completely... I wanted the TamaGo until I realized you need to buy all the figurines to get everything.. Bandai just wants our MONEY....

    How to rmove Tamagotchi paint?

I use TURPENOID. It's made SPECIFICALLY for painting and art... I've been taking professional art lessons and I've been using it every week when I paint with certain medias... The fume is not very strong at all and it doesn't harm me or my skin, tamagotchi, etc. Turpentine... used for stripping...

    v4 hanatchi

I have hanatchi on v3 right now. I took perfect care of him as a baby and child, then I took OK care as a teen. I let the hearts empty a few times, he was overweight a bit a few times as a teen.

    How to rmove Tamagotchi paint?

I have a v3 yellow with hot pink dots on it... I decided to remove the pink dots so I could do a little experimental modding with different types of paints and clays. So I started with scissors, scraping off the pink dots, but it just scratched the tam. I tried turpenoid (used in "painting"...

Would You Buy the Next Tamagotchi?

YES. And I'd pay about 40 bucks for it, considering the rest of the money goes to my REAL LIFE pets. But honestly, I only collected Tamas until v5, then I was through. Music Stars just do not appeal to me. I wanted a TamaGo so badly though, but then I learned that it requires less care, hardly...
