From my memory (I know this is true with the V1), the American ConnECTtion "bleep" was much louder (but still very soft) than the ConneXion and Plus range (Asia + Europe). As TamaMum said, many like to believe its the heartbeat. ^_^

I don’t use a screen protector and my TMGC+C doesn’t have scratches. And I don’t feel I take particularly amazing care of it - just normal care. Mind you, it certainly hasn’t got as much use as my other Tamagotchis. *Looks at my much-loved Keitai which has lots of scratches* :( I think...

A P1 exists with the same pattern. Some Chibis (I don’t remember if all did) resemble the old P1s ... They also share the same background design to the P1. So if you’ve got all the icons and the Tamagotchi isn’t REALLY small, then it’s a P1. :)

Weird.. Is it the same Tamagotchi that always has the glitch? Maybe its a problem with the actual IR-sensor of that Tama. I know that IR often fails / acts weird in direct sunlight... Maybe that had something to do with it?
