As far as copyright/fake connection(ect) non tamas go... Bandai likely sees it as backwards advetising. As in, they get nastalgic about reading tamagitchi... they search for it or buy that... and then go for a real one. Sometimes its cheaper to let somethings go. Bandai does know about these "scam"

Well yes, I could do that. I mean, if a rule was no pokemon center visits for healing. I am so used to it and try to keep pokemon healthy so... ya. I would end up with Winguls and pokemon that are hard to train, I think anyway. Lol.

I know a few people who have done this with wonderttade pokemon and transferred into a game bank/trade. You could always wondertrade pokemon out too. Never know what swaps you would get and you could continue with the new pokemon. I wouldnt locke because I would forget the rules. Lol.

Unfortunatly, with time, our precious toys inner battery dies. With being a McDs toy, its likely not possible to replace the inner battery without a special triangle screwdriver. Mine is somehow still working but, by any standards (as old as they are) unless the tab remains unpulled, they should...

Old question but... Its like an advertisment, filler animation too. Its a bit random but thats mostly what it is. The animations were limited because of the data/game save/score and special button interaction. Likely the time keeping too since it needs to be kept on to keep the correct time...
