So much have happened during the last five days. Firstly, I quit my job. I'm a bit sad because I tried hard to find it, but it was awful. It was supposed to be part-time (6 hours) but ended up to be a full 8, we were getting yelled at all the time for not being quick enough with the leaflets...

Since your parents don't like the sound, why don't you tell them to give you a screwdriver to mute it? It must be easy: open it up, find the wires of the speaker, cut them.

Agreed with Hoky. Sometimes I get all excited and run three of them at once but then it's too much. I like having one or two at most and really paying attention to them.

Are they the same size as your other tamagotchis? Or maybe shorter?

I don't have a naming system, I just name them after things in my life, like foods, people I meet, characters in books, weather conditions etc.

Actually, in the Connections, the oldies never die, unless you make many care mistakes. I think they accumulate over time. But there are tamas that live for years, like, human years. :P

I have anxiety issues too and I'm on antidepressants which I'm trying to slowly cut off... I have found tamagotchis to help, just a bit. But mostly they help with everyday stress, like exams etc. When I'm studying and I see them next to me bounching around, they calm me down.

I got a new egg, but the battery screen was already gone, maybe if you replace it before the screen fades you'll keep the old one, I don't know. But there's definitely enough time to do this if you have a new battery.

Thank you both! Well, I removed and placed it back a couple of times and in the end it worked again, so I don't really know what's the problem, but just to be sure, I bought a new battery. Now it looks fine.
