i was planning on doing a group hatch yesterday XD My pink tamagotchi friends will work right?

So, my two tamagotchi friends had a pattern of boy, girl, boy, and i expected the pattern wouldn't stop at generation 4, but it did stop. I expected it to at least go to generation 5! Has anything like this happened to anyone else? I was hoping they would be both girls and look like their mothers :/
