You get the royal costume in your item list when you have received all 3 souvenirs from donating 30,000 points to the king. The costume is re-useable, but your tama will only wear it for a few seconds at a time- it has to be an adult to use it. Here is a picture of a couple of tamas wearing it...

No- praising before you name it won't work. Pressing any button while it is crying will take you to the naming screen. Yes it will only have the game get. Games are added as it evolves into each stage. You only get all the games back when you get to adult again.

If it wakes up while you are at school it will stay on the screen 'crying' until you press a button- then it will go to the naming screen. It won't do it any harm to remain on the 'crying' screen as it's almost the same as being paused. If you don't want it to wake up while you are at school...

As soon as the baby is on it's own and after you have named it, you will able to select 'parent' from the 'family' menu (book icon). You press B to scroll through the parents stats and the last screen will give you a password to enter into tamatown.

It does sound very like a Decotchi. I've had that character many times and absolutely adore him! I was fortunate to get one for halloween and I was so happy. It is a really happy character comes and it has the same characteristics as far as sleep/wake times and animations as Mimitchi...

Yes a V1 can connect with any other connection/connexion version. All you do is select the heart and press the B button - while your friend selects the V1 option from a V2 or 'others' option from a V3. Then it should work. (the only time you cant connect a V1 is when it's a baby )

Not true, if the Santagotchi character doesn't appear on a debugged tama's character list, then it will not be able to be got as a main character by hatching a new egg. Please check any information before you post as posting rumours starts arguments- as you can see :P *topic closed*

That's true- I can't remember the last time I ever saw a tooth symbol on one of my tamagotchi's! Just make sure if it beeps- you Act on it, whether it be praise, time-out, lights, medicine, food needed- whatever it needs! :D
