Couldn't agree more. And I am ao happy right now also because I just managed to purchase a brand new sealed Gen1 from 1996... the same one I first ever bought. Same design and packaging and everything. I'll post when my new batch of purchases arrive.

This is an obscure idea but try removing the battery and putting it back in. Might sound daft but these reissues sometimes suffer battery glitches if they are not in properly. Everything else has been explained already. No sound for sickness or bathroom. No sweets to babies its guaranteed death.
